Cantick Head Lighthouse Cottage
A delightful lighthouse cottage in Orkney commanding stunning sea views
This historic haven, which once served as the home and workplace of a Victorian lighthouse keeper, has been lovingly converted into a remote hideaway with stunning sea views to enjoy and if you’re lucky enough, Orca spotting.
The cottage contains two bedrooms, sleeps up to four people and is ideally situated for getting away from it all and exploring this remote part of the world.
The clifftop location provides panoramic vistas of rugged landscape and rolling waves. A sauna and hot tub are available for guests to use, and, for all its rustic charm, the cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen and Wi-fi.
If you fancy trekking out, there is a nearby nature reserve as well as plenty of hiking and cycling routes that will take you through the natural surroundings that are a highlight for birdwatcher and, in summer, treats visitors to beautiful displays of wildflowers
