Located in the 4000-acre Hesleyside Hall Estate in Northumberland in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Raven is an adults only retreat inspired by some of the most wistful and romantic landscapes in England.

This is a watchtower in the woods where you are Lords and Ladies of all you survey. The views are wonderful and can be enjoyed from your own private stone stell. In the evening, light the firepit and settle back with a glass of your favourite tipple.

Alternatively, bring out your inner child by toasting marshmallows and marvelling at the night sky from the battlement. Or view the stars and enjoy the benefits of an outdoor bath without the exposure. View the stars in a more modern way by relaxing in a stylish wooden bath and viewing the universe through the retractable stargazing roof.

Inside the treehouse

A good night’s sleep is on the cards with a king-size bed with a 6000 sprung luxury mattress with fine Egyptian cotton bedding and towels. Luxuriate in your ablutions in either the stunning wooden bath or shower room. All the modern conveniences are catered including a flushing loo, central heating & wood-burning stove as well as a gas hob, oven & grill, fridge, kitchen sink, dishwasher

Outside the treehouse

Enjoy the splendour of the great outdoors both in the woods that Raven resides in or enjoy the grounds of Hesleyside Hall with its Capability Brown designed gardens. At night use the telescope and stargazing kit to chart the constellations or sit back on your private veranda and enjoy the warmth of your firepit.

The Area

Hesleyside Huts, of which Raven is part, is just a stone’s throw from the prestigious North Tyneside valley. Numerous nearby treasures await including walking Hadrian’s Wall, visiting Kielder Observatory, exploring the North Tyneside coast or paying a visit one of the many stately homes that includes Alnwick Castle, Cragside or Howick Hall. For the more adventurous, there is bike hire and also the famous Hesleyside Beat fishing area only 5 minutes walk away.
