In The Vale Barns
Two fabulous and just renovated listed barns in the Lake District, just for adults.
2 Barns / Each sleeps 2 / Hot tub for each barn / Adult only / No dogs / 3 night minimum stay
Beltie and Barley Barns sit in the middle of the Lake District National Park with dramatic views down the valley, surrounded by mountains Blencathra to the north and Helvellyn to the south.
Birkett Farm has been a family concern for generations – and remains a working farm to this day. Also situated on the farm and away from the barns are 5 gorgeous huts and cabins, each sleeping 2 with a hot tub for each cabin. So if you’re looking for an adult group holiday with private accommodation for each couple, this is the perfect group retreat for you.
Inside the Barns
Each grade two listed barn has been beautifully renovated with unique features tied into the history of the farm, combined with luxurious and stylish interior design and fully equipped with underfloor heating, log burner, a bespoke seamlessly styled kitchen with Quooker hot water tap and Siemens appliances. Moving up there is an indulgent wetroom with a waterfall shower and a bedroom with a floating king size bed with crisp white linen and super plush pillows. In Barley Barn there is also a floating glass staircase that leads to a mezzanine level where your sleeping quarters are situated.
Outside the Barns
It’s a stunning space for 2 adults to enjoy this fabulous space surrounded by the sheer beauty of the Lake District. Relax and enjoy a cedar wood hot tub with its sweet woody fragrance, with clear views along the ridge of High Rigg and down St John’s In The Vale.
The Area
It’s the perfect base from which to explore the Lake District. And after a hard day’s trekking, cycling or visiting one of the quaint local towns, there is nothing like a dip in the hot tub, a glass of bubbles and a beautiful sunset to provide the perfect end to the day.
