Romantic & Restorative Breaks
Created exclusively for couples, The Wild Root offers a chance to spend uninterrupted time together in a peaceful countryside setting. Surrounded by wildflowers and open skies, it’s a place designed for leaving the everyday behind and focusing on the simple pleasure of being away together.
Each cabin has been thoughtfully designed to blur the boundary between indoors and out, encouraging guests to embrace life at a gentler pace. Start the day with coffee on the deck, spend afternoons exploring the Chilterns or simply settle in with a good book and nowhere else to be. Owner Jessica has thought of all the little touches; all cabins have Wildsmith Skin products throughout the bathroom, kitchen, bath area and outdoor shower beside the sauna. Bath robes and slippers are also provided with a radio and blue tooth speaker in each cabin.
Outdoor bathing forms an important part of the experience. Every cabin features its own outdoor bath, providing a private space to soak beneath open skies, while access to the shared sauna with outdoor shower offers another opportunity to relax and recharge during your stay. The sauna is also able to be booked for your own private sessions.
As evening falls, light the firepit, cook together beneath the stars and retreat indoors to the warmth of the log burner. It’s an experience that feels wonderfully removed from city life, despite being less than an hour from London.
