    Discover Lowfield House, a privately owned holiday home nestled in the truly unique and breath taking Little Langdale Valley. This expansive five-bedroom property comfortably sleeps up to ten guests, making it an ideal choice for larger groups, multi-generational families, or even a management corporate retreat. Surrounded by fells and farmland, this holiday home boasts panoramic views of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks, including the Old Man of Coniston and Wetherlam. It’s the perfect base for adventures, celebrations, or simply switching off from everyday life in an unparalleled setting.

    Lowfield House was built by owner James’ grandparents and has been in the family since it was built in the 1960s. It is in the most fabulous of positions in the heart of the Lake District UNESCO World heritage site and James describes it as his family’s special place, where they can share it with other guests who will appreciate both its position and luxury vibes.  The house is perfectly positioned to capture sweeping views of the surrounding fells, including the iconic Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam, Swirl How, Lingmoor and Wrynose Pass.

    With five en-suite bedrooms, a private hot tub, expansive gardens, and elegant indoor spaces, Lowfield House provides all the ingredients for a relaxed and memorable stay – whether you’re travelling with family, friends, colleagues, or even your beloved four-legged companions.

    Lowfield House is set up for local chefs to take over the catering, or there is a great local pub 300 metres up the valley, called The Three Shires Inn. It is open every day for both lunch and suppers and local chefs use fresh local Lakeland produce and a selection of local ales from Cumbria.

    The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped for group catering or relaxed meals, featuring a six-ring gas range with twin ovens, dishwasher, fill height fridge and under counter freezer, breakfast island, including a further electric combination oven, microwave and plate warming draw with an all important wine chiller, coffee machine, and modern appliances. A separate utility room with a washer and dryer is super useful for your family and friends stays.

    It is worth noting, that unless it’s a late booking, James has a minimum of 1 week stays in high season, late bookings are a minimum of 3 nights.

    During the low season (Nov-March and not including School holidays) short bookings can be made for a minimum of 3 nights.
