Welcome to Worcestershire’s own Gretna Green. What a perfect place to elope and get married surrounded by beautiful countryside, secluded woodlands in the most romantic of retreats.

The history of Treeopia, living the dream

Owners John and Nicki carefully planned the access and privacy to Vivianna and Eathelin when they started the build, choosing two mature Ash trees in their woodlands to make sure that they were each in separate and secluded areas, with the trees growing on a bank with easy access and living accommodation elevated up in the treetops and overlooking water.

The history of Treeopia is fascinating and intertwined with a discovery of spirituality and healing. Whilst clearing the woods and ponds to create Treeopia, research revealed that the grounds and water features were once part of Kyre Park Gardens and designed by Capability Brown in 1740. The ponds were originally the location of a medieval fishing pool near treehouse Eathelin. It’s no wonder that guests often speak of the transformative energy that surrounds them during their stay, as if the very essence of the land inspires renewal and reflection.
