The grade II listed Visit England 5-star Gold award cottage features all the rustic charm you would expect from a cottage in the Peak District along with modern conveniences for your comfort. If you’re looking for luxury self catering accommodation in the countryside then you found it. The holiday home can cater for up to 6 guests with three bedrooms all with luxurious king size beds. Two of the bedrooms with French cane beds and original oak beams and have en suite bathrooms and there is a further separate family bathroom.

If you want to explore the local area, there are too many hiking and biking routes to name, along with numerous sites to visit. From museums, mines and caverns, to the wonderful Chatsworth House and local towns and villages that include Matlock and Bakewell, the choice of things to do is so varied.

The Old Granary is situated in the pretty hamlet of Wheatcroft which is just outside the market town of Matlock.
