The Highland Club offers 20 luxury private apartments with a concierge to look after you, situated in the wonderful Gothic buildings of a former fort, monastery and abbey of Fort Augustus at the Southern tip of Loch Ness.
Inside the Retreats
We’re featuring two penthouse apartments, with loch views and fabulous roomy roof terraces.
The retreats range from one bedroom apartments to two and three bedroom apartments, so there is plenty to choose from and in fact this makes it the perfect place for larger groups and families to base themselves from with their own space and be able to make the most of the shared facilities together.
Outside the Retreats
Relax in the stunning indoor swimming pool and spa area including steam room and sauna, or get together with friends to play in the snooker room in the the Highland Club lounge – we’d call this the games room, or have a game of tennis or croquet with stunning views of Loch Ness and the Highlands around you.
The Area
The location is perfect for touring groups and families with 20 acres of private beautifully landscaped grounds to enjoy on the shores of Loch Ness.
If you need a rest from cooking, book into The Boathouse Restaurant on site, or arrange for a chef to make you dinner in your apartment, there are also lots of other delicious foodie options in the local town of Fort Augustus.
These are the perfect retreats to relax and be sociable in all that the Highlands of Scotland has to offer from climbing Ben Nevis or exploring castles to whisky tours and fishing. Or perhaps a spot of wild swimming might be on the agenda for the more adventurous of you.
