Spring Barn is a contemporary adults and countryside retreat for up to four guests, hidden off the beaten track in Herefordshire, perfect for relaxing stays and keen walkers.
Owners Tina and Tom live next door on a working farm and Tom has lovingly built this stunning barn conversion with fabulous views across the Herefordshire countryside.
Inside Spring Barn
Recently renovated and launched in 2024, Spring Barn is a beautiful contemporary holiday cottage for up to four adults, with a roomy open plan living, kitchen and dining area – an open plan inviting sitting room awaits and kitchen and two bedrooms and bathroom on the same floor. All rooms are on the ground floor, with easy accessibility. There are two charming bedrooms with a roomy king-size bedroom with fabulous views across Herefordshire and a second snug bedroom with a king-size zip and link that can be made into twin beds (3ft beds) at the time of booking. Between the bedrooms is a shower room with double walk in rain shower and loo.
The barn has been designed simply in a classic style, with underfloor heating throughout the cottage. Enjoy cosy evenings with a huge log burner in the open plan living area with exposed beams.
Spring Barn has a Smart TV in the sitting room area and a TV in the main bedroom. All guests are welcomed with a hamper filled with local produce. There is a high chair and cot available on request for families staying; although we would recommend this lovely barn retreat specifically for keen adult walkers and couples wanting to get away to a remote but easily accessible location for a few days or a week away in the Herefordshire countryside. Because everything is on one level, Spring Barn is also a holiday cottage ideal for less mobile guests.

This lovely house sits in a perfect position, within a rural and arable location with a large private garden, with a glass private patio spilling out from the open plan living room, with gas BBQ, garden furniture, and recliners, a perfect entertaining area for sundowners with friends and family.
There is an additional terrace with a fire pit and carved wooden stools on the other side of the retreat.
From your doorway at Spring Barn are both private walks across the owners’ fields leading to a lake and footpaths across the hills straight from your doorstep.
There is private parking and secure bike storage.
The Local Area of Herefordshire and Worcestershire
Spring Barn is near the village of Collington, Herefordshire with a local pub and shop approximately 4 miles away. There’s also a wonderful destination restaurant, called Native which is part of the Netherton Estate, just a few miles away.
This area is well known for its small market towns with independent shops, restaurants and antique houses. Leominster, Ludlow and Ledbury are all within a 20 mile radius and if you want to go a little further afield, the nearby cities of Hereford and Worcester both have beautiful cathedrals and riverside walks.

For National Trust enthusiasts, there are a number of properties and gardens all within easy reach including Brockhampton and Berrington Hall.
Cycling & Walking from Spring Barn
This is the perfect retreat for cycling and walking enthusiasts.
Enjoy the local Malvern Hills and a little further away, the Shropshire Hills for some more challenging terrain and perhaps a X country run.
Wildlife at Spring Barn
Slow down at Spring barn. You’re surrounded by the neighbouring onsite sheep and can enjoy the more varied Herefordshire wildlife on your doorstop, including muntjac deer, hedgehogs, foxes, badgers and rabbits.

Located in the heart of Herefordshire, the closest town is Leominster. It is approximately 3 hours from London, 1 hour from Birmingham, 1 hour from Bristol
