Inside the Treehouse
What’s most special about Dabinett treehouse is its height and unique positioning amongst the trees and consequently, breath taking views of the south west countryside from the roomy treetop terrace. You really are living in the trees and experiencing treehouse life in style. Relax in your cosy tree love nest with your underfloor heating, Luxury Bed linen, fluffy robes, slippers and towels and Bramley toiletries.
Outside the Treehouse
Dabinett Treehouse at The Orchard at Fenny Castle is actually one of three bespoke wildlife retreats at the edge of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, with breathtaking views across the Somerset countryside. You may even possibly catch sight of deer foraging in the nearby woods. There are two treehouses, Dabinet and Pomeroy and One Cabin, Vilberie. The two treehouses and cabin are beautifully crafted, offering many spoiling features as couples retreats. The owners believe that luxury and nature can coexist harmoniously and have built sustainable luxury retreats to ensure that your holiday doesn’t come at the expense of the environment. We especially love the Orchard at Fenny’s unique location in the Mendips, with its’ abundance of wildlife and calm.
The Area
To help you explore the stunning Somerset surroundings without adding to your carbon footprint, the owners have provided guests with dutch vintage bikes. Or why not spend your days hearty hiking across the Mendips and drop into the local vineyard just next door on the way home for a little wine tasting or perhaps the local goat farm for some fabulous cheese. Visit nearby Wells Cathedral for a history, food festivals and carnivals.
Always important to factor in, are three walkable pubs: The Pheasant Inn at the end of the lane which runs behind the treehouse, The Burcott or the Ring O’Bells in Wookey, both offering simple pub food cooked to perfection.
