Tucked away in the winding cobbled streets of Appledore, this beautifully restored Victorian stone cottage is the perfect coastal escape. Part of a row of former mariner cottages, the property offers elevated views across the sandy estuary to Instow and it’s just a short stroll from the bustling quayside, beaches, artisan shops, and cosy pubs of this characterful North Devon village.
Set over three floors, this lovingly curated retreat blends period charm with elegant, modern interiors. The Master Suite
A stunning vaulted super king suite situated on the top floor of the cottage with panoramic views stretching across the estuary to Instow and out to sea. This light-filled retreat features an ensuite shower room and is the perfect spot to wake up slowly and savour the scenery.
Bedroom 2
A king-size bedroom situated on the first floor with almost floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows which flood the room with natural light throughout the day.
Bedroom 3
Located on the first floor, this twin room can be converted into a king-size bed on request – offering flexibility for families or friends.
Luxury touches include Egyptian cotton bedding, hand-printed Indian bedspreads, and luxury towels in every room. Guests on the first floor can also enjoy the spacious family bathroom with a full-size bath and shower.
