What an incredible holiday property this is. Just launched and in a perfect position in the Hampshire countryside, just outside Winchester on the banks of the River Itchen near the South Downs National Park, is a lakeside seven bedroom property of modern design with floor-to-ceiling windows and styled using a contemporary take on 1950’s Italian design.
This holiday retreat is truly spoiling, with the most fabulous views across Hampshire’s landscape and with a stunning heated outdoor private pool overlooking the lake. Stillwaters House is amazingly a dog and family friendly retreat, although we feel that this is the perfect holiday house for adult groups and parties wanting a really lavish holiday in the UK.
Location
Stillwaters House is within the grounds of Avington Park, a beautiful, family-owned private estate just east of Winchester. Set in its own private parkland of 150 acres, along the banks of the River Itchen, for centuries Avington has served as a playground to both Kings and Royal Courtiers…and now it’s your playground.
Entertainment
The Owners have carefully thought through what their guests need, both for relaxing evenings over dinner but also during the day, with plenty to do; note the SUPs and canoes for river activities, a gym and both a pool with hot tub, and football table, so the perfect space for some healthy competitive games. For those of you who would rather chill out beside the beautiful swimming pool area, you can relax on a sun lounger or perhaps roast marshmallows around the fire pit in the outside dining area.
The House
There is a large and well equipped open plan kitchen with several other reception rooms for entertaining and the 7 ensuite bedrooms with king size beds sleep up to 14 in fabulous opulence.
