    You can find the sweet Southcroft Cottage hidden up a quiet lane by the Chapel of  Ease to St Giles in the centre of Bredon’s Norton, on the slopes of Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds.

    Inside the Cottage

    Southcroft Cottage is a beautifully decorated spacious cottage perfect for couples and families to hide away and enjoy country life in peace and quiet on the hill.  It has been decorated with a traditional and classic design and has the feeling of a Cotswolds family home. You have everything you need in terms of facilities for your stay. There is a well-equipped family kitchen and a welcoming sitting room with a cosy wood burning stove. Upstairs there is spoiling luxury bedding for the two beautifully presented double bedrooms and a single bedroom with White Company bathroom essentials in the spacious family bathroom.

    Outside the Cottage

    The dining room leads to the light filled garden room and through the french doors is a traditional country cottage garden. The Cottage is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by stunning surrounding countryside. It is the perfect place to stay with your dog and family and explore the area without having to cross any roads to reach the hill.

    The Area

    Bredon Hill is well known for its hiking and cycling routes. A couple of miles away in the village of Eckington is Eckington Manor restaurant and its own cookery school, made famous by Masterchef winner Mark Stinchcombe. Or, if you’d prefer a more relaxed approach, perhaps a walk across the hill to the local pubs in the beautiful tranquil village of Elmley Castle or The Yew Tree in Conderton near Overbury might suit you better. Travelling further afield you can visit Malvern, the beautiful spa town famous for it water or the nearby market towns of Tewkesbury and Pershore. Also worth considering is the in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold countryside is the pretty Cotswold town of Winchcombe home to charming pretty timber framed cottages and the award winning gardens of Sudley Castle.

    Location

    Southcroft Cottage is located in the tranquil village of Bredon’s Norton at the foot of Bredon Hill. Bredon’s Hill is just 20 mins drive south east of Junction 5 of the M5 or 18 mins drive north from Junction 9 of the M5.
