A unique and ideal location for a family gathering, wedding, party or celebration
10 guests in the winter over 4 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms and from 1st april to 30th september there are 3 fully furnished bell tents adding on an additional 6 guests / there is also the option to hire in a bell tent village or for extra guests to camp with potential for up to 100 guests to stay on site.
On the border of Powys, Shropshire and Herefordshire, Wilde Lodge is a wonderful holiday retreat and private party heaven. Perched above the river Teme with access to the river, this fabulous house has plenty of space for unwinding or to party with magical areas for entertaining and dining.
The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping 10 people. From April to October there are also 3 fully furnished bell tents in the garden for an additional 6 guests.
You’re also welcome to invite additional guests to camp in the surrounding fields or they can set up an entire bell tent village if you are after a little more comfort.
The long barn (included in the hire) beside the main lodge can seat 50 guests for al fresco meals under the wooden beams covered in fairy lights. It is licensed for 90 for wedding ceremonies or can take 100 guests dancing the night away. At the back of the lodge is a huge open barn (also included in the hire) covered in hay bales and home to our bespoke concrete ping pong table, also licensed for ceremonies for up to 120 or just perfect for drinks, dinners or gatherings.
For special celebrations you can hire their bespoke safari tent, nestled in between the barn walls, with a 16ft solid oak bar and space for 120 guests to sit. With in house catering options from their open fire kitchen you can really celebrate in style.
For those staying at Wilde Lodge, the choice of activities available locally are huge. From riding horses, going racing at nearby Ludlow racecourse, to trying your hand at rally driving – it’s all here. And there are the more traditional country sports such a golf and shooting available to take part in too.
For those of you wild swimmers, there is direct riverside access just below the house.
