This delightful former church has been lovingly restored but still retains all its rustic charm. From the aged look of the exterior to the beautiful wooden-lined interior that comprises a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area.
There is even an outdoor hot tub commanding stunning views across the Tay Valley.
The mezzanine master bedroom includes a King Size bed and views over the chapel. And there is a second bedroom that sleeps two in bunk beds.
The living area features huge sofas and a wood burner, so you remain snug even when the worst of the Scottish weather arrives. And floor to ceiling altar windows mean you can still enjoy the views
Away from The Tabernacle, there are hiking and biking routes aplenty – including the Birks of Aberfeldy, made famous by the great Robert Burns in his 1787 poem, The Birks o’Aberfeldie.
And you can do more than just enjoy the craggy Highland views. For adventurists, climbing, abseiling and canoeing get you up close and personal with the fantastic scenery that surrounds you.
But you should also find time to visit the Aberfeldy Distillery to dry a wee dram of the local whisky. And why not take a bottle back to The Tabernacle to enjoy by the fire or, if the weather is fine, by the BBQ.
