The Hudnalls Hideout

Nestled deep in secluded Gloucestershire’s ancient woodland, The Hudnalls Hideout treehouse is a luxurious treetop spa experience, exclusively for adults.

Here you can disconnect (no wi-fi or TV to distract you!), declutter your mind and be at one close to nature. You will experience complete tranquil seclusion as there is just one solitary retreat here. You’ll find it perched above the magnificent Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the stunning surroundings encourage you to take a deep breath and simply relax.

Inside the Treehouse

This adults only treehouse has been lavishly crafted with designer pieces and creative touches – for your maximum comfort and luxury. Step into the huge rainfall shower when you’re not luxuriating in the beautiful copper bathtub out on the deck.

Outside the Treehouse

One of the highlights is a long bubble-filed soak in the outdoor copper bath tub for two or a quick steam in the super cute Woodland Sauna with a picture-perfect glass window, looking out onto the woodland around it.

When you feel peckish, cook over the firepit or get creative and use the authentic wood-fired oven to cook your own pizzas or plan a romantic picnic (everything provided for you!) in the wild flower meadow.

As the sun sets, wander along a mysterious woodland track to your own private bar – The Lookout Bar has jaw-dropping views across the valley – the perfect place to renew your vows or get down on one knee and pop the question!

For added luxury, private massages, reflexology treatments and yoga can be arranged in the treehouse or out on the giant wraparound deck. A Private Chef can be booked to come in to cook a romantic meal infused with fresh seasonal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley flavours.

Wild Wellness Retreat

Looking for the perfect wild wellness retreat? For a unique experience book a Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) session or head to nearby Float in the Forest for total chill-out floatation therapy. If you’re feeling active, there are walking trails straight from your treehouse door and fantastic Forest of Dean mountain bike and cycling routes aplenty, that will show you the rolling landscapes and rugged magnificence of this part of the world. And there is a traditional village pub within walking distance of the treehouse or as the perfect stop-off reward on your way back where you can enjoy a well-earned drink.
