Lyra Lodge at Camp Katur

Lyra Lodge, launched just last year, is the shining star of what is already a fabulous collection of unique and luxurious retreats, within the 300 acre Camp Katur woodland Estate in North Yorkshire.

Lyra Lodge

Lyra, named after the contstellation, is the ultimate escape for up to four guests within a beautiful landscape and perfect for both friends and family. You will find Lyra within the forest and enjoying beautiful views through fantastic portrait windows all around the cabin, so that you feel like you’re living in nature.

Inside Lyra Lodge

The Lodge has a bespoke interior design and it has a wonderful feel of space within the cabin. There is a master bedroom with a King Size bed and private outside deck, a twin bedroom with two single beds, two en-suite shower rooms and a large open plan sitting room and kitchen with fabulous 180 degree views of the woods. There is underfloor heating throughout the lodge.

Outside Lyra Lodge

Step outside the large french doors which open onto a wrap around deck and it’s here that you will find your own hot tub and an outside area with relaxed seating, a dining area, BBQ and fire pit.

Unlike the Camp Hill Estate’s other retreats, Lyra has been kept dog free to ensure that it is kept in pristine condition.

The Camp Katur Estate

This is a fabulous estate with so much space to explore and activities to take part in. This is the family home of the Ropner family and Robert and Jo Ropner are passionate about preserving their perfect part of North Yorkshire and sharing their home with guests and enjoying the Yorkshire Dales.

Geodomes

Uniquely shaped structures, based on the original ‘Geodesic designs’. With cosy wood burning stoves, generous decks and nestled into woodland, with stunning views across the meadows. The geodomes are dog friendly.
