The nearest shop is in the village of Pershore, 2.3 miles or each Saturday there is a pop-up shop and coffee land rover in the Little Comberton Village hall, approximately 100m away.

The nearest bus stop is in the village hall, 100m away.

The nearest train stations are Pershore – 3.8 miles, 10 mins drive.  With hourly trains to London (2 hours), Oxford (1 hour) or Worcestershire Parkway – 6.9 miles, 15 mins drive, with hourly trains to Birmingham (30 mins).

There is secure cycle storage within Well Furlong if required, please inform us if this is required prior to arrival.

There are several taxi firms in Pershore / Evesham offering accessible transport locally.

We can accept shopping deliveries from major supermarkets etc by arrangement.

Arrival & Car Parking

Well Furlong is just off the bend of Pershore Road, as you drive past the village Hall we are the third drive on the left through two stone pillars and open wooden gates up a gravel drive.

Well Furlong cottage has a level car park, with a tiled surface directly outside the cottage front door. From the car park into the front door there is a 15cm step into the cottage through a 92cm wide front door.

Well Furlong Shepherds Retreat:

• Parking is up a farm track with a loose chipping parking area.  There is a 75m gravel pathway from the parking area to the Shepherds Retreat.  There are 4 x 21cm steps from the gravel path up to the raised decking, that gives access to the front door.
• The front double doors can be opened to give a 187cm wide opening, there is an 8cm lip over the threshold of the door.
• There is oak flooring throughout the Retreat.
• The width of the Single stable style decking door leading directly from the bed area is 88cm.
• The living area of the cabin is open plan.
• The top of the mattress is 69 cm from the floor.
• The kitchen sink tap is a traditional spoked turn handle.
• The width of the bathroom door is 69cm
• The bathroom floor is also oak boards.
• The “lip” into the shower is 2cm.
• The bathroom sink taps are a traditional spoked turn handle.
• The depth of the step from the decking up to the sunken hot tub is 25 cm.
• The hot tub is 63cm deep from the top of the hot tub to the hot tub seat.
• All external door handles are lever operated, the internal bathroom door has a traditional thumb lever handle.
• All bedding is 300 thread Egyptian cotton.

Outside Space

• The Shepherds Retreat is set in an undulating, uncut meadow.
• The area immediately around the cabin is kept close mowed and there is a firepit with wooden logs as stools.
