There is a private parking space for guests to use and a delightful patio area complete with BBQ, outdoor dining furniture and a sofa.
Inside, you can curl up by the log burner and get lost in a good book or enjoy a glass of wine. The kitchen is fully-equipped and it’s not uncommon for foodies to visit the weekly market at Moreton-in Marsh before returning to the cottage to get creative with local produce.
The charming and characterful village centre of Bourton-on-the-Water is just a short walk from the cottage and offers an array of tea shops, traditional pubs and restaurants for you to sample. And just on the other side of the town, you’ll find the Cotswold Motor Museum and Toy Collection.
A little further afield are Stow-on-the-Wold and regency spa town, Cheltenham – home to one of the most famous horse racing festivals in the world.
Other local attractions include Birdworld and a model village. And why not spend some time walking, cycling or driving around this area that is wonderfully unique and packed with stunning views?
